As an avid Ylang note lover this is hands down the best fragrance I’ve ever found.
This is hands-down the best Ylang based fragrance that I’ve been able to put my nose on!
This scent is not like more vanilla focused Ylang scents like Perris Monte Carlo’s Ylang Ylang Nosy Be or even M.Micallef’s Ylang in Gold. The closest “scent” to this is Diptique’s Eau Moheli at the opening. However the dry-down of Eau Moheli “sours” whereas Ylang D’Or maintains the bright and fresh tropical touch. Additionally, this fragrance lasts nearly 3 times longer than Eau Moheli on skin - and in a very pleasant soft way.
The way I’d describe this scent profile is “the smell of the Ylang flower after a rain shower in the midst of wet and invigorating cedar wood trees”.

This is a very natural and uplifting scent that lasts for an entire 24 hours! This would make for a fantastic masculine floral-woody signature scent. I would absolutely recommend!
Ylang d’Or smells amazing - warm, soft, and a little bit sensual. It’s elegant but easy to wear, and it lasts forever!
